Đêm 28-7, Ban chỉ đạo phòng, chống dịch Covid-19 của Nghệ An đã tổ chức khoanh vùng, đưa đi cách ly tập trung 21 người từng tiếp xúc gần với bệnh nhân 435 khi người này về thăm quê.
Sáng ngày 29-7, trao đổi với phóng viên Báo Người Lao Động, PGS-TS Dương Đình Chỉnh, Giám đốc Sở Y tế Nghệ An, cho cho biết ngay trong đêm 28-7, đoàn lãnh đạo Sở Y tế Nghệ An vẫn đang có mặt tại huyện Quỳnh Lưu (tỉnh Nghệ An) để chỉ đạo công tác rà soát, khoanh vùng phòng dịch Covid-19. Qua rà soát, đã xác định được 21 người là F1, tiếp xúc gần với bệnh nhân 435, những trường hợp này sau đó được đưa tới cơ sở y tế cách ly tập trung. Ngoài ra, ngành y tế đã rà soát toàn bộ F2 để cách ly tại nhà.

Được biết, bệnh nhân 435 (nữ, 29 tuổi, đang tạm trú phường An Hải Đông, quận Sơn Trà, TP Đà Nẵng) có quê ở xã An Hòa, huyện Quỳnh Lưu. Bệnh nhân này là nhân viên Khoa Y học cổ truyền, Bệnh viện Đà Nẵng. Hơn 1 tuần trước khi được phát hiện mắc Covid-19, nữ bệnh nhân 435 đã về quê tại huyện Quỳnh Lưu, Nghệ An thăm người thân.
Ngày 20-7, người phụ nữ này trở lại Đà Nẵng, đến ngày 26-7, trong lúc làm việc tại khoa Y học cổ truyền, cô có biểu hiện sốt và khám sàng lọc tại khoa Cấp cứu, bệnh viện Đà Nẵng, sau đó được chuyển đến khu cách ly tại khoa Nội tổng hợp, bệnh viện Đà Nẵng. Ngày 27-7, bệnh nhân tiếp tục được xét nghiệm dịch hầu họng và cho kết quả dương tính với virus SARS-CoV-2. Sau đó, bệnh nhân được chuyển đến điều trị và cách ly tại bệnh viện Phổi Đà Nẵng.
Ngay sau khi nhận được thông tin từ Trung tâm kiểm soát bệnh tật TP Đà Nẵng, Ban chỉ đạo phòng chống dịch Covid-19 tỉnh Nghệ An đã chỉ đạo Ban chỉ đạo huyện Quỳnh Lưu tiến hành phun tiêu độc khử trùng tại gia đình mà người phụ nữ lưu trú. Khẩn trương đưa những người tiếp xúc gần đi cách ly tập trung, đồng thời tiếp tục rà soát những người tiếp xúc còn lại để khoanh vùng, cách ly kịp thời.
